Leadership and development specialist Ivy House completes MBO with Ama Capital backing.
August, 2026
Ivy House, a leadership and development consultancy which delivers bespoke programmes for some of the world's best-known organisations across a range of sectors, has completed a management buyout (MBO).
Supported by operator-led investment firm Ama Capital, the investment will enable Ivy House to expand its offering and operations across the UK and overseas.
Ivy House has worked with over 19,000 leaders based in more than 30 countries. The business equips individuals, from emerging talent to C-suite executives, with the leadership skills required to grow and thrive in the modern workplace.
Natalie Benjamin, Ivy House CEO, said; “We’re delighted to be announcing this exciting new chapter.
“Organisations face unprecedented levels of complexity, transformation and change. As a result, the demands placed on leaders have never been greater. Our success to date has been built on the care we bring to our clients when navigating these challenges.
“We’ve always believed there’s a better way to support leaders. Too many development programmes have failed to evolve to address key issues faced in the modern workplace. Ivy House was built to challenge traditional approaches by creating experiences that genuinely transform people, teams and organisations.
“Ama’s investment and support will enable us to scale and accelerate our growth, which includes plans for further acquisitions.”
Ivy House was established in 2017 by Elke Edwards, a renowned performance coach and best-selling author. Natalie Benjamin, who previously spent almost two decades as a senior leader at Lane4 and then EY Lane4, joined Ivy House as CEO in 2024 to lead the business through a period of significant growth and evolution.
Elke Edwards, who remains a shareholder, added: “Now felt like the right time for Ivy House to take its next step. Natalie has done a fantastic job since she joined, supported by our wonderful team. We all believe there is a significant opportunity to pursue and I will help from the sidelines however I can. The business is in great hands and I’m excited about its future.”
Ex-Lane4 CEO and Founder, and Olympian, Adrian Moorhouse MBE, will join the Board of Ivy House as Chair. Moorhouse, who is an Operating Partner of Ama Capital, said; “The leadership and development market is constantly evolving, and we believe that Ivy House is the best platform to build a highly relevant next generation leadership consultancy firm.
“I am thrilled to be supporting Natalie, her team and their aspirations as they make their own mark in the sector.”
Alongside Moorhouse, Ama Operating Partner Dominic Miller will join the Board, in addition to incoming CFO, James Ellis. Ama’s investment, in partnership with Zachary Asset Holdings, sees it acquire a majority stake in the business.
Ed Ransome, Ama Capital Founding Partner, noted: “We’ve always valued the importance of leadership development. Adrian was one of the first people we invited to join Ama, and we have been looking for the right platform to enter the market ever since.
“Elke, Natalie and everyone at Ivy House should be proud of what they’ve created. We believe the business has the whole package, led by a great up-and-coming team that is already well known to Adrian.
“Combining their talent and knowledge of the sector with the operational experience that we can bring is exactly the reason why we created Ama Capital.”
Robin Haller, Director at Zachary Asset Holdings, added: “We’re delighted to partner with Ivy House’s outstanding management team and with Ama. We see an exciting opportunity to support the business’s growth by drawing on the passion, experience and collective expertise of everyone involved.”
