Ama Capital welcomes two new Investment Executives to the team.

Hamish joins with over nine years of experience across audit and transaction services. A First-Class Accounting and Finance graduate from the University of East Anglia, Hamish began his career at Grant Thornton, qualifying as an ACA with first-time passes. He later joined HMT LLP, where he spent four years in the financial due diligence team, advising on a wide range of mid-market transactions. It was during this time that Hamish first worked alongside Ama’s founding team, providing advice on several of their previous investments.

Conly, a Chartered Financial Analyst, brings more than 13 years of global experience across finance, banking, and M&A. Originally from Perth, Western Australia, Conly began his career in tax accounting for the mining and exploration sector before moving into corporate relationship banking across Perth and Sydney. He later relocated to Berlin, serving as the sole finance employee of a health-tech start-up, before joining KPMG’s London-based M&A Industrials team, including a secondment at Survitec Group. His experience spans multiple sectors and geographies, adding valuable depth to the Ama Capital team.

Both bring strong technical expertise, sector knowledge and a shared belief in Ama’s operator-led, partnership-driven approach to investing in UK SMEs.
