A South East based duo have launched a new investment firm.
Ed Ransome and Miles Otway have launched Ama Capital LLP as an operator-led independent investment firm is backing UK lower mid-market companies, their founders and management teams.
The pair have over 30 years of cumulative SME investing experience, across a wide range of
investment types and structures.
The firm says its approach utilises the real-world experience and understanding of proven,
in-house industry leaders and functional specialists, all of whom are invested in the
firm.
Miles Otway said: “We believe that this is a truly differentiated model for the UK lower mid-market, providing more valuable, aligned and practical support to help our investees in bringing
their visions to the surface.
“We provide up to £20m of funding to profitable companies, taking majority and minority
positions, backing buyouts, retirement sales and carves outs.”
Ama Capital will focus on companies within the Financial & Professional Services, Niche Engineering & Industrials and Business Services sectors.
